Atlas Horizontal Milling Vertical Attachment

I was wondering if there ever was a vertical milling attachment for a horizontal mill it would seem that it would be a somewhat useful attachment. it could slide on the over arm ways and either be powered by the horizontal spindle or be self contained with its own motor.
